College Basketball Team Breaks Record

Basketball is a game where records are broken. In men's basketball this season, one basketball team is running through their basketball schedule and setting all sorts of school records. Missouri has used a strong high school basketball recruiting presence to build a team that’s taking college basketball by storm, especially on their home floor.

The Missouri basketball team is doing something in men’s basketball that is normally only seen in college girls basketball. They are running their their basketball schedule on the home floor, with success that’s generally been reserved for the Missouri football squad. They have now won 32 straight games in Columbia, which is approaching a school record. With two more wins, the Missouri basketball team will establish a home winning streak that is sure to rival professional sports records around the world. The way they have done it is almost as interesting as the home winning streak itself.

Missouri is known for its fast paced style at home, so you can be sure that their games will be much more interesting than your run of the mill baseball game. They use a high pressure, high intensity game plan that forces the other side into many turnovers. This is the way coach Mike Anderson learned men’s basketball when he was an assistant coach at Arkansas and it’s the style that helped him go undefeated at home last season. The Tigers still haven’t lost a game at home this year, and they’ve been running over people in the process. They are changing the way basketball is played in the Big 12, as their high pressure style has been a real challenge for all their teams on their basketball schedule.

Missouri has some tough games coming up, but if they can continue to play good basketball at home, there’s a solid chance that they will set the consecutive wins record at home for the school. This is a huge accomplishment for a team that looks poised, once again, to make a run in the NCAA tournament. The Missouri Tigers are a basketball team that is doing big things in a conference that has long been dominated by their biggest rival, the Kansas Jayhawks.
