Rock Out To Hard Rock Music

A lot of people think that rock music has seen its final curtain, but I’m here to tell you that there are a lot of good bands out there making great music even now.

Unlike Hip Hop Music which quite frankly has flooded the mainstream for the last two decades, rock music is at one of its highest points in ages, but not a lot of people know about some of the better bands and Music Management is starting to take note. The mainstream has been devoid of good bands for a while, with few exceptions like Disturbed.

If pop rock music is your thing, check out a band called Backyard Babies. Their brand of ballady songs are addictive and catchy. The song “Minus Celsius” was featured as one of the rock music songs on Guitar Hero III. Another band to check out in the field of rock pop songs is Vanilla Ninja. Even though they haven’t released a new album since 2006, their songs, like “Tough Enough” and “Cool Vibes”, are catchy and would make for good music camp rock.

When it comes to authoritative hard rock music there are four bands I highly recommend checking out, all of which have released recent albums. Firewind, from Greece, is one of the best power metal bands of the last ten years and their most recent album “The Premonition” has some awesome songs that will make you stand up and cheer, like “Head Up High” and an awesome cover of “Maniac”

Another band to check out is a great band from Italy called White Skull. Their 2009 release “Forever Fight” has power and intensity, and their new singer, Elisa De Palma, delivers one of the best hard rock music drinking songs in “Beer, Cheers”.

From the country of Brazil is an amazing band called Hibria. The 2009 release of “The Skull Collectors” is well worth a listen, if for no reason for the intense guitar playing in “Sea of Revenge” and “Reborn From The Ashes”. The fourth band I’d recommend listening to is called “Thunderstone”. This Finnish power metal band’s fourth release, “Evolution 4.0″ is worth a listen. Look for a cover of Nik Kershaw’s “The Riddle” done very well on this album.

Even good Christmas Music can come from hard rock. Bob Rivers and Twisted Radio has an album called “I am Santa Claus” which spoofs various songs in a heavy metal style, but if parody isn’t your thing, check out Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They do Christmas music with a rock edge. It’s well worth a listen.

In conclusion, the 21st Century has brought us some great new hard rock to jam to and as we approach a new decade, we can hope to see more wonderful music from talented hard rock artists all over the world! Rock on!
