Beyonce Music Takes The Stage

Beyonce, an American singer, actor, record producer and model, was born as Beyonce Giselle Knowles on September 4, 1981. She adopted the single name of Beyonce for use in the music industry. Beyonce music falls into the genre of R&B, with commentators indicating influence from genres all over the spectrum including classical music and rock music.

Beyonce originally started out as a member of the group Destiny’s Child. In 2003, she released her debut solo album, “Dangerously In Love.” Destiny’s Child was disbanded in 2005, allowing Beyonce to continue her solo career. Her second album is entitled “B’Day” and her third album is entitled “I Am… Sasha Fierce.” In 2010, Beyonce won six Grammy Awards. This was a record breaker, as previously no female artist had ever won more than five awards in one night. Beyonce was also named Billboard’s Top Female Artist of the Decade, an admirable achievement. Beyonce’s music is popular on You Tube Music channels and other Internet music venues.

Many a Beyonce single has made it to the top of the charts. Some of her most recent hits include the Beyonce Halo song, the Beyonce Single Ladies song, and the Beyonce If I Were A Boy song. If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) were released together on October 8, 2008, and went on to top the charts in various countries.

If I Were A Boy was inspired by a bad breakup. Singer BC Jean, who came up with the song while walking in Times Square and musing that she would make a far better boy than her ex-boyfriend, wrote it. The Beyonce Ladies song has been credited with starting the first major dance craze of the 2000s and the first one to spread through the Internet. Single Ladies states that if a man really likes a woman, he should marry her and not play around. Halo is about a woman who opens her heart to a man, and how wonderful it is to have this connection with him. One of the songwriters for “Halo,” Ryan Tedder, denies claims that this song was originally written by singer Leona Lewis. He says the only reason this rumor started was because Beyonce took so long to decide to record the track that he tentatively offered it to Leona Lewis during the wait.
