The legendary actor has earned over 30 movie acting related awards in the years he has been on the big screen.
Next, for “best actress” Angelina Jolie is “the best” based on salary. In 2009 she made a reported $27 million. Her film “Wanted” earned $341 worldwide. Currently, the star is working on “Salt” and received a nice paycheck upfront for this CIA-themed movie. There’s no competition for “best actress” if determining based on awards. Meryl Streep has earned more than 60 movie acting related awards and at age 60, she is working on 3 more movies.
“Best director” winner based on 2009 salary is George Lucas earning $170 million. The king of sequels was a part of Harrison Ford’s big earnings, as Lucas was a writer and producer of the fourth Indiana Jones movie. But when it comes to being the best based on statuettes, the category is a tie between Steven Spielberg and Clint Eastwood. Both highly accomplished men have earned over 50 director or best picture related awards.
